- Can be confused with AFB
- Larvae die and look as if they are in a sackfilled with water
Sacbrood Management
- Colonies are usually able to manage themselves by removal of diseased larvae.
- If severe, recommend re-queening and removal of diseased frames for a few weeks where bees can’t access them
